Around the house there is a beautiful landscape, surrounded by grasslands, gardens farmlands and forests. In the vicinity you may find all kinds of farm animals, peacocks, ostriches and a vast array of interesting birdlife.

As the house is so close to the village of Montagut, places like the swimming pool, sport courts, etc. are less than a five minute walk away.
If you enjoy combining sight seeing and light exercise there are bicycles available for rent. However, if you prefer walking we can also advice you about all the amazing routes you can take. We also recommend you visit the neighbouring towns, which also have a lot of charm: Castellfollit de la Roca, Besalú, Olot, Santa Pau, Banyoles, etc.

And finally, if you want to ski or go to the beach remember that we are in less than an hours drive form either mountains, or Mediterranean sea.
